Our client, IT product company from the US, is looking for Director of Engineering to fill in position in its office in Moldova.

Place of duty: Chisinau, Moldova

The Ideal Candidate:

Has a Strong Cultural Fit

• Hard working, transparent, high integrity
• Entrepreneurial, scrappy, self-motivated, self-managing, flexible
• Servant leader, leads through influence not authority

Has Extensive Management Experience

• 8+ years as a manager of engineering teams
• Directly or indirectly managed more than 25 engineers
• Handled mentoring, on boarding, career growth, and other related items
• Experiments and quickly iterates to find the ideal solution to solve issues that arise
• Experienced in growing engineers into engineering managers and hiring engineering managers

Has a Strong Engineering Background

• 5+ years as a senior engineer
• Has opinions and perspectives on engineering problems
• Earns the respect of other senior engineers

Strong Recruiting Skills

• Has directly hired at least 10 senior engineers

Is Fluent in Spoken and Written English and Russian
