Vacancy: Game Designer

Our partner, a multinational Game Development Company headquartered in Tokyo (Japan) is looking for Game Designer

Workplace: Kyiv, Ukraine

We are looking for an enthusiastic Game Designer to join our team and become a

creative force in the development of our products. Game designer is the one to cover

game concepts creation from the very beginning and its development till its final release.

Among responsibilities there are such as establishing the aesthetics, mood and look of

the game. Game Designer needs to understand the user experience during the

development process to make players feel engaged and rewarded by the game to keep

playing. The process of game development is a union of different perspectives, like

creative and technical, and it’s Game Designer’s role to ensure that team works

affectively and smoothly reaching common goal.

Necessary Skills:

• Requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in game design and development
• Key contributor in the design and development of thriving core and entertainment products
• Ability to work in teams, with managers and able to collaborate with creative and technical disciplines
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-driven, responsible and detail-oriented person who can multi-task and deliver high-quality work on time
• Interest in slot games both from a developer and gamble player point of view

Desired Skills

• Proficient in Excel and Word
• Proven ability to create game concepts
• Good level of spoken and written English
• Strong understanding of mathematical concepts in gaming
• Strong math background
• Experience in creating technical docs and requirements
• Proficient in Visual Studio
• Strong Jira user

We offer:

Salary range:  USD 4000 – USD 4200
